A new poster has been released for director Stephen Frears’ upcoming Lance Armstrong biopic The Program, which features Ben Foster in the lead role as the disgraced cyclist.

Based on the award winning book “Seven Deadly Sins” by The Sunday Times Chief Sports Writer David Walsh, and featuring a stellar cast including Ben Foster, Chris O’Dowd, Guillaume Canet (Tell No One) and Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad), this tense and suspenseful thriller looks at how one of the greatest deceptions in the modern era was uncovered while Armstrong convinced the world he was a hero, winning the Tour de France seven times.

Armstrong’s spectacular downfall was previously portrayed in two documentaries, The Armstrong Lie and Stop At Nothing, but Frears’ is the first feature film to be made about one of the most astonishing acts of cheating in sporting history.
