The first picture of Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston as former US President Lyndon B Johnson has been revealed, and the transformation is absolutely phenomenal!

People magazine had the first look at Cranston for the upcoming HBO film All the Way, which takes a look back at Johnson’s attempts to pass the 1964 Civil Rights Act and his own presidential campaign.

Cranston first appeared as LBJ on Broadway to rave reviews – but it has made the move to TV screens for an HBO movie produced by Steven Spielberg.

Melissa Leo is playing First Lady Claudia Alta Taylor ‘Lady Bird’ Johnson, with Anthony Mackie joining the cast as Martin Luther King Jr.

The Jay Roach-directed project began shooting last month and will air on HBO in 2016.

Cranston can also be seen in Amazon Prime’s Sneaky Pete and will also play legendary Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo in Trumbo, which will be released in January 2016 in the UK. Watch the trailer below:
