If you like dramas with a Nordic grisliness hanging around in every scene, you should dewfinitely tune into this new four-part thriller from the BBC. Ex-constable Claire Church has fled her dark past by escaping to the remote Western Isles with her partner, Norrie. But no matter how far she runs, she can’t escape the shadows cast by her history, and as decades-old bodies are unearthed on a Manchester building site, the darkness threatens to fracture her life once more. DCI John Hind immediately suspects the bodies are connected to a case that dates back to 1998: women that were reported missing, but few cared about…apart from his former protege, Claire. Harassed by his own impending misconduct investigation, Hind realises there’s only one option available – he must reconnect with Claire.
Licence to Thrill – Paul Hollywood meets Aston Martin

A meeting of two great British stars: baker Paul Hollywood and Aston Martin cars. Paul drives some priceless and exclusive Aston cars: the DB10, the new James Bond car from Spectre, the DBR1, the 1959 World Championship winning racing car, and the DB5, the stunt car used in Goldfinger. Ever since he was given a toy model of the Goldfinger car, at the age of five, Paul Hollywood has been a passionate fan of Aston Martin. Now, four decades on, Paul gets to fulfill his dream and find out first hand a
-bout the company. Despite huge success, Aston Martin has never made much money. So Paul meets the new boss, Andy Palmer, to hear about his plan to turn the company around. To find out just what these cars can do, Paul also trains up to race and joins one of the Aston teams. If he can get his licence upgrade, he’ll even be able compete at the world famous Le Mans race festival in France.
Cleopatra’s Lost Tomb

Dr Kathleen Martinez, a criminal lawyer turned maverick archaeologist, is searching for Cleopatra’s lost tomb. Very little evidence remains of Egypt’s last queen – despite centuries of searching, her final resting place has never been found – but Kathleen’s radical new theory about the real Cleopatra has led her to look where no one else has dared. And her hunch is paying off as she stuns the archaeological establishment with her discoveries of incredible artefacts, a network of mysterious tunnels and even a vast city of the dead dated to the time of the Queen and her dynasty. Now Kathleen has made her biggest breakthrough so far, a 35-metre deep underground shaft that, according to the experts, has all the hallmarks of a burial shaft. It’s winter: there’s a promise of new beginnings for Combo, Lol and Woody but nothing ever works out as planned. Kelly is in a very dark place. She hasn’t just strayed from the path, she’s gone fully off piste – and only she can decide on how this is gonna end. Shaun has grown in to the man he was meant to be, while Milky has to deal with demons from his past. This is set to be an emotionally exhausting finale and we can’t wait. It’s likely to be a cracker. But wait, there’s only about half an hour to get your Sunday dinner into you as Arsenal take on Manchester United at the Emirates, with the action kicking off at 4pm. What a day of football we have in store!
