Sir David Attenborough is back narrating a new nature documentary for the BBC – and it looks amazing. The seven-part series, The Hunt, is set to wow audiences when it drops on to our screens in the autumn.

The trailer is a thing of beauty. Setting dramatic shots of lions, rainforests and the frozen wilderness to Nina Simone’s timeless ‘I Put A Spell On You,’ covered by The Alpines, this looks like it’s going to be an unmissable landmark series from the BBC Natural team.

Using innovative, awe-inspiring filmmaking, The Hunt will capture the unique relationship between predators and their prey. It will examine and explore the challenges faced by each in seven different habitats around the world.

Whether it’s running alongside wild dogs chasing wildebeest; racing through the open ocean with orca, taking on 40-ton humpback whales; in Zambia, creeping alongside a leopard, stealth-hunting gazelle – it’s going to be breathtaking stuff.
