When we first heard the mention of a Friends reunion we could hardly contain our excitement.
On Wednesday, NBC announced that our six favourite friends would appear in a documentary dedicated to James Burrows. However, we were left feeling a little disheartened when NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt let it slip that they might not even be in the same room as each other!
In the official announcement, he said, “We’d like to get all six of them in room at the same time, but I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off.”
Now, we’ve just discovered that Matthew Perry isn’t coming at all! He’s too busy in the middle of rehearsals for his London play, The End of Longing. Good luck, Chandler!
But don’t worry, before you all start panicking, Perry’s spokeswoman has said that “Matthew may tape something for the tribute”. So there may just be some light at the end of the tunnel yet.
And judging by twitter, Matt LeBlanc seems pretty excited about it all! Let’s just hope the rest of his co-stars follow suit.
Should be a good time! https://t.co/5mrWPJkD3R
