Comics legend Stan Lee has expressed an interest in seeing Spider-Man, Wolverine and The Avengers all in one blockbuster movie.

Lee told Digital Spy that he wants to see all his creations team up for one memorable event, admitting he would “love it.”

“I would love to see that,” he admitted. “Though there are so many of them now that I don’t know if they’d all fit on the screen!

“Little by little, they are appearing and guest-starring in each other’s movies. It’s such fun, because any one of them could fit into another movie – there’s always a way to write it.

In February 2015, Sony Pictures – which owns the cinematic rights to Spider-Man – struck a deal with Marvel Studios and Disney to allow the character to make his MCU debut in this year’s Captain America: Civil War.

Fox and Marvel, though, just can’t seem to play nice, denying us the opportunity to see Wolverine take on Hulk on the big screen.

For now, the one thing uniting all movies based on Marvel Comics – we’ll ignore Fantastic Four – are Lee’s amazing cameo appearances.

“I just did one the other day for Deadpool,” the 93-year-old confirmed. “I’ve done three cameos in the past few months, so they’ll be coming out. It’s hard for me to even remember!”
