It’s nearly here. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is only two weeks away. The hype is real people. Warner Bros. screened a final cut of the movie for selected lucky selected fans and the feedback has been extremely positive, which will come as a massive relief for DC fans around the globe who tempered their excitement with a hint of dread.
The main thing to take away from these first snippets of reviews is that Zack Snyder has vastly improved on his divisive Man of Steel movie in 2013, which drew criticism mainly for its controversial ending that saw Superman destroy Metropolis and murder General Zod, with many claiming it wasn’t in the tradition of then character.
According to VanByNight, who has vigilantly been trawling through social media to find those who attended the screening, has said that some are claiming Dawn of Justice to be even better than Christopher Nolan’s Batman films, something which is fairly difficult to believe right off the bat. Then again, stranger things have happened.
“There was a screening today and thus far the buzz has actually been very good. Stuff like: “better than the Nolan films” – “a VAST improvement from “Man of Steel” – and a lot of raves about Lex Luthor & Wonder Woman.
“And it appears there are actually a good 5 or 6 MASSIVE reveals/spoilers that WERE NOT in any trailers. (I’ve heard what these spoilers are, but can’t be sure if 100%. But if true….wow. Huge shit, big comic book movie stuff, and awesome.)
“One thing I’ve heard from multiple people now is “better than Man of Steel”, “100x better than Man of steel”, & “I didn’t really like Man of Steel, but I really liked this one, huge improvement” …etc..”

So, it looks as though Dawn of Justice is a huge step-up from Man of Steel but whether or not it will stand up as one of the greatest superhero movies ever remains to be seen. Batman v Superman will be released on March 25.
