His means of defense will be needed more than ever when a rogue band of resistance fighters comes together for a darking mission that will see them attempt to steal plans for the Death Star, the Empires ultimate Weapon.

The moon-sized space station has the ability to destroy an entire planet making it the most imposing technological terror ever conceived and a serious threat to the galaxy as a whole. the Galactic Empire ruled for years through fear, intimidation, and tyranny. With a mighty military force including the likes of the elite empire soldiers known as stormtroopers, advanced spy technology like probe droids and planet destroying Death Star, Emperor Palpatine’s evil regime seemed unstoppable and permanent, this is reinforced by Darth Vader, who led the empire’s eradication of the Jedi Order. The Sith lord remained in the service of the emperor, the evil Darth Sidious, for decades, enforcing his masters will and seeking to crush the fledgling rebel alliance, but some brave rebels dared to strike back.

So there’s some very exciting details for Rogue One there. We’re hoping that more of these story guide pages will land online and, once they do, we’ll have them for you. It was recently announced that a Rogue One panel, featuring director Gareth Edwards and Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy, would appear at Star Wars Celebration in London in July. We’re certain that’s when we’ll be getting a second trailer for the film.
