We’re being inundated with glorious pieces of information from the Justice League set visit reports but here’s one of our personal favourites. Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, who portrays Wildling warrior Tormund Giantsbane, has bagged a small role as an Atlantean King in the Justice League movie.
According to IGN, the Norwegian actor appeared on concept art on the walls of the production office during their visit to the Justice League set, with his character bearing the label “Ancient Atlantean King.”
IGN speculates that Hijvu’s character will appear during a flashback sequence involving the Mother Boxes, when Amazonians and Atlanteans came into the possession of ‘three alien’ Mother Boxes, subsequently hiding them away to prevent them falling into the wrong hands. It is during this hiding away sequence IGN believe Hijvu’s character will appear.
This is great news because it confirms that Hijvu’s career is on a very upward trajectory, as he will also a play a villainous role in next year’s Fast 8. There’s more information on his Justice League role in IGN’s video below:

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
