Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s Ultimate Edition is expected to give DC fans a much smoother, more satisfying movie experience, adding in 30 minutes of extra footage and bombarding die-hards with hours of bonus features.

One of the features is “The Might and the Power of a Punch,’ explaining how powerful Batman’s left hook is. In Dawn of Justice, Batman punches Superman quite a lot and you need to have a fair bit of clout when swinging if the Man of Steel is on the receiving end.

Of course, the Caped Crusader was heavily armoured for his showdown with Supes and the film’s Facebook page reveals that “one of Batman’s punches is equivalent to getting hit with a battering ram #‎BatmanvSuperman #‎UltimateEdition.”

That’s a force of 1420 pounds. Pretty impressive, huh.

The DVD and Blu-ray release of Batman v Superman comes armed with a bevy of enticing bonus content, including: Uniting the World’s Finest, Gods and Men: A Meeting of Giants, The Warrior, The Myth, The Wonder, Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile, Superman: Complexity & Truth, Batman: Austerity & Rage, Wonder Woman: Grace & Power, Batcave: Legacy of the Lair, The Might and the Power of a Punch, The Empire of Luthor, and Save the Bats.

The Ultimate Edition swings onto shelves on July 19 in the US, August 1 in the UK.
